Lucia has lived and studied in Castelldefels for most of her life, there is where she found interest and passion in the sciences. Since she was in high school, her interest in Neuroscience has grown exponentially. The study of people and behavior fascinate her and that´s why she decided to go study Neuroscience and Anthropology at Wesleyan University, in the US.
Currently, she is expanding her knowledge and experience in the lab by participating in ICFO´s internship for undergraduates, which has brought her to the Neurophotonics and Molecular Systems Biology lab.
Lucia has many hobbies outside of her work and study, whether its drawing, dancing, being part of a movie production or a fashion editorial, she enjoys exploring herself creatively and keep herself surrounded by exciting people.
