During her PhD she had the chance of working in colon cancer, particularly in epithelial to mensenchymal transition, investigating how small genetic changes can have powerful outcomes.<br \/>\nAfter her PhD she moved to the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute and to the Caenorhabditis elegans model.
